EchoSmart's real-time, continuous monitoring can significantly increase well and reservoir revenue by optimizing production and operation strategy. The liquid level data it provides can be used to automatically adjust VFD drive parameters at the wellsite, ensuring liquid levels remained at the desired height. Current technique for liquid level data
EchoSmart
By maximize well's production.
Echosmart measures liquid level data in a well in a real time mode and can send this data to VFD drive in local control panel. The PLC in the control panel can adjust motor speed to change pump stroke rate to tune production. Because of the real time measurement feature of EchSmart, liquid level in a well can be maintained at desired height, thus the productivity of the well is taken full advantage of, compared to production with high liquid level, production revenue is maximized. Usually well's production can be doubled or tripled.
No man needs to be onsite. This process is automatic.
Current liquid level data is collected by sending a technician to wellsite, connect the instrument, then fire a shot. His instrument records the echo and calculate liquid level.
The cons of this method is:
Liquid level data cannot be taken at any time, any location, or any weather
Data is isolated and cannot be used, in a real time manner
Data is not continuous, at most it is sporadic. There cannot be a close loop to help VFD drive to maintain liquid level to certain height
Cost. Each trip to the wellsite costs a few hundred dollars, for a few liquid level points

In addition to maximizing a well's production, EchoSmart can also provide crucial data for strategy management of oil and gas field, by helping to achieve better history matching.
We depends on reservoir model, say Schlumberger Petrel, to predict production dynamics of oil and gas fields and make strategic decision.
EchoSmart can greatly improves the quality of history matching by providing long term liquid level data in a well and the whole fields, which is not possible with manned liquid level shots.
In addition to improving history matching quality, EchoSmart can also be used for steady-state well test and transient well test, to extract reservoir parameters, including, most importantly, recoverable reserves which is not available by any other means. Company executives care most of recoverable reserves.
Note: mature industry software may be needed for well test analysis including downhole pressure calculation with liquid level data.

EchoSmart comes with WIFI and wireless data transmission capability. Liquid level data can be transmitted either through local wireless network, cellphone wireless network, or serve as a liquid level sensor for SCADA system. Virtually there is no limitation on a well's physical location to collect liquid level data.

ADVANCED SIGNAL PROCESSING
The signals received by EchoSmart can sometimes be noisy, especially in deep wells or complex well conditions, where achieving a good signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) is crucial. To address this, an advanced algorithm has been developed to enhance the S/N, enabling EchoSmart to achieve a measurement depth of up to 4,000 meters (~13,000 feet) with an accuracy of ±0.1% FS.
ZERO CASING PRESSURE ABILITY
EchoSmart employs a unique technique that allows for accurate liquid level measurement in wells with zero casing pressure, overcoming a challenge that has traditionally been difficult to address.
BETTER DESIGN AND FULLY TESTED
EchoSmart undergoes rigorous testing to ensure its reliability under extreme conditions, including high/low temperatures, high/low pressures, water spray tests, and electromagnetic compatibility tests. It is also resistant to high H2S concentrations and comes with EX certification. Additionally, satellite communication is available as an optional feature for enhanced connectivity.

CLOUD PLATFORM

One of the centers we’ve built currently manages over 2,500 wells. Authorized personnel can easily access liquid level data via their mobile phones, tablets, or desktop computers, providing seamless and efficient monitoring.
REMOTE CONTROL
With EchoSmart, liquid level data is collected remotely. The operator at the control center issues a command, and the instrument automatically carries out the data collection process, sending the liquid level measurements back to the control center for analysis.
WELL MONITORING PACKAGE
This is the extension of EchoSmart into smart data collection and management. The robust instrument identifies the well by its coordinates, collects both liquid level data and dynamometer cards, and sends this information back to the platform. The data is then analyzed on the platform using AI technology, providing actionable insights for improved decision-making.

CLUSTER WELL SUITE
For cluster wells, both onshore and offshore, skid-mounted EchoSmart is the solution. It features a central module with a measurement unit mounted on each well. Liquid levels are measured in turns, and the system includes a cellular module for remote control and data transmission.

EchoSmart supports both steady-state and transient well tests, allowing operators to plan tests in advance and initiate them at the optimal time. It collects liquid level and casing pressure data at predefined intervals, ensuring precise monitoring.
